Project Runway -- WrongWay 2011

If you look on the Elle Runway Re-Cap, 3 of the 4 finalists, in my opinion, shouldn't be there after all.  Laura's runway show (decoy) is SPECTACULAR (I wish she would have shown this talent during the competition).  Bert's ensemble (decoy) has timeless, classically-styled clean lines -- a Real Winner!   Even Olivier (decoy) and Bryce (decoy) had some nice pieces.  Anya's fashion line, while showing beautiful prints and design, I believe is limited in scope.  They're very tropical, like Uli's from a past PR.  Perhaps more for the Hamptoms crowd.  With so many TV shows "shot" at that location, Anya may be able to pick up many clients (I'm serious).  I think if she had shown the more sedate designs (like the ones in the last few episodes), she would be the clear winner.  Joshua's line is just weird and tasteless.  Hopefully, he'll be eliminated when it comes down to the final 3.  Kimberly's line has a few nice pieces, especially the tan pants with the semi-sheer blouse --GORGEOUS! Victor's line shows range and is nice.  A few too many see-thru pieces for my taste, but I think he will ultimately be the winner.  With all the nonsense, drama, and off-beat (some downright ridiculous) challenges (stilts, anyone?), I feel the weekly challenges DID NOT in any way, shape, or form, show the designers' TRUE talents. If they had, we'd have a Different finale show.  A few twists, weird materials, crazy deadlines and 1 or 2 team challenges are okay to see who can think on their feet, but we're tired of all the stunts.  We want to see great design!  Give the competitors time to shine, so that they can design UP to their capabilities.  And please, stop wasting OUR time with the clearly less talented (edit down to 10 and then start the show).
